Buku Kebun by Sawitara
Farm Book for oil palm owners. Know your profit every month, the minimum FFB price that avoids a loss, and take a tidy report to the bank. Record from your phone, even without signal.
Most farm owners cannot say whether the farm made money
Profit or loss? Not sure
Money in from FFB and money out for fertiliser, labour and hauling is mixed up in a notebook, in your head, or in lost receipts. At month end it is hard to say how much the farm made.
FFB prices move, the break-even is unknown
When a collector or mill makes an offer, it is hard to judge if the price still pays, because cost per kilo has never been worked out.
The bank asks for a report, you only have scraps
A loan or replanting application needs a tidy financial report, but farm records rarely get that far.
Six things Buku Kebun is built for
Unlike a general accounting app, it answers the farm owner’s own questions in plain words. Items marked as planned or by design are not in the prototype.
Know the farm’s profit every month
The home screen shows this month’s profit straight away, without accounting jargon. Simple Mode first; those who want more detail can move up to Full Mode on the same data.
The minimum FFB price to avoid a loss
Worked out from your own farm costs. When a collector or mill makes an offer, you know the floor.
Quick entries, not long typing
Pick the type of entry, enter the amount, done. Recording by voice or receipt photo is planned and not in the prototype.
Works without signal
By design: entries are kept on the phone and sent by themselves when signal returns, so it is safe to use at the farm.
A report for the bank
A tidy profit and loss and cash-flow report to take to the bank. We do not promise any bank will accept it; we will check each bank’s required format first.
FFB sales recorded by themselves
If the mill you sell to uses Sawitara Mill and you allow it, its tickets and slips flow into Buku Kebun without typing. Other mills: you record the sale yourself.
Three steps
- Sign up and pick your farmSign in with your phone number, then enter the farm’s name and size.
- Record money in and outSold FFB, bought fertiliser, paid wages: a few taps, anywhere.
- See profit, minimum price and reportThis month’s profit appears by itself. If you wish, connect to your mill so sales come in automatically.
Farm data belongs to the farmer, shared with the mill only with permission
This is how Buku Kebun is designed. The full personal-data terms will be published at launch.
Your farm data is yours
Farm records, figures and reports belong to the farm owner. We do not sell your data.
Shared with the mill only with permission
A mill, cooperative or bank sees only what you allow. Without your permission, nothing is shared.
Permission can be withdrawn
You choose what is shared and with whom, and you can stop at any time.

Try the Buku Kebun prototype
Prototype: sample data, not the real app yet.
Tap through sign-in, a quick entry, this month’s profit, the minimum FFB price and a report. Everything you see is a sample. The prototype is in Indonesian; what you type stays in your own browser.
Quick answers
Can I use Buku Kebun already?
Not yet. Its status is Coming soon. What exists is a clickable prototype on this page, with sample data. The prototype is not the real app.
How much does it cost?
The price will be announced at launch. People who register interest will hear from us first.
Does my mill have to use Sawitara?
No. Buku Kebun can be used on its own. Only automatic sales from weighbridge tickets need a mill that uses Sawitara Mill, and your permission.
Who can see my data?
Only you. A mill, cooperative or bank sees it if you allow it, and that permission can be withdrawn.
Will the bank definitely accept the report?
We cannot promise that. Each bank has its own format; we will check before calling this report ready for an application.
Where does the data I enter in the prototype go?
It stays in your own device’s browser and is not sent to our servers. All names and figures in the prototype are samples.
