Sawitara is an end-to-end platform for the palm oil ecosystem from PT Digital Decision Indonesia: web-based software connecting estates, the weighbridge, the palm oil mill, sales, finance and accounting in one data flow. Sawitara connects estates, mills, smallholders and buyers on one plantation platform, from FFB to financials to FFB-origin traceability, with AI at every step.

Buku Kebun by Sawitara (Farm Book) is a profit and loss notebook for oil palm farm owners. Its status is Coming soon: only a prototype with sample data can be tried, not the real app. The price is announced at launch. See Buku Kebun.

Yes. The Independent Mill plan contains Sawitara Mill, Tandan (supplier portal and ramp cashier) and Sawitara Finance. Sawitara Estate is not needed.

Yes. Many Business Parameters (e.g. grading weights, dispatch shrinkage tolerance, truck load limit, rice ration in cash or kind) can have a unit-specific value while other units use the company value.

Sawitara Trace helps record plot traceability, mass balance, grievances and EUDR data. Sawitara is not a certification body or a certified product. See EUDR.

Yes. Each user chooses Indonesian or English in the profile menu; screens of every product, the sign-in page, the Try page, Tandan on the phone and the public FFB price page are translated. Some text is still in Indonesian, e.g. the forgotten password pages and stored sentinel finding titles. Official printed documents (weighbridge tickets, receipts, slips, invoices, payslips) stay in Indonesian. Video tutorial narration is in Indonesian, with English transcripts on this site.

Yes, through the weighbridge agent: a small program on the weighbridge PC (Windows or Linux) that reads the indicator over RS-232/USB-serial or TCP and sends weights over HTTPS with a device token. The server only accepts a weight equal to the last stable reading. Frame profiles have not been tested on a real indicator, so each indicator is matched first in the agent’s dry-run mode. Scales without the agent are entered manually with a reason.

The deduction (%) is the sum of each criterion’s bunch percentage times its weight, plus the trash weight percentage times its weight. The same formula is used on screen, minutes, ticket and server. Yes for the Sawitara Estate field app: harvest records, dispatch notes, upkeep, pest census and culling queue on the phone while offline and sync automatically without duplicates; document numbers are issued on sync. Fleet logsheets also work offline. Weighbridge, grading, lab, ramp cashier and estate cashier screens need a connection. This mode requires HTTPS and the app opened once while online. Growers, suppliers, DO holders and cooperative boards can also install Tandan on their phone and open their last view offline after the PIN.

Yes, through the portal in Tandan by Sawitara: a personal link shared by the mill over WhatsApp or a QR card, opened on a phone without an account. The portal is view-only; a link without a PIN can be opened by anyone holding it, so it is handed to its owner and can be revoked. A 6-digit PIN is optional for growers and suppliers and always required for DO holders and cooperative boards; it is not an OTP. After the PIN, Tandan can be added to the home screen without the Play Store and shows the last data while offline.

Yes. Sawitara runs on-premise with Docker (or Nginx, PHP-FPM and MariaDB/MySQL without Docker), or managed by us. Minimum: 64-bit Linux, 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB disk plus backup space. Servers without internet still work.

Through Initial Data Import: download an .xlsx template per data type (chart of accounts, organisation, blocks, employees, items, growers, fleet, ledger and stock opening balances), fill it in Excel and upload. The preview shows errors per row without saving; data is saved only when every row is valid.

Our process is designed for go-live in one working day with the Initial Setup wizard and Excel import, provided initial data has been cleaned. That is a target, not a promise: data preparation depends on the state of your data.

One installation per customer, automatic daily backups with checksums and an off-server second copy (if configured), role-based permissions, per-unit data isolation, an audit trail with before and after values, and period closing locks. Details on the Platform page.

Ara’s anomaly sentinels are fixed rules that run on your server without any AI service. The AI assistant only works once you configure an AI provider; questions and their operational data summaries are then sent to that provider. If not configured or the module is off, nothing is sent.

Journals can be exported as CSV/Excel batches following account, unit and column profile mapping, or pulled by IT through a token-based read API. This is not an official or certified SAP or Accurate integration: column profiles must be matched to your upload template and tested in a test system.

Yes. Payroll calculates BPJS contributions (rates and wage caps in Business Parameters) and PPh 21 using average effective rates (TER) under PP 58/2023 and PMK 168/2023, with the Article 17 recalculation in the final tax period.

No. Sawitara provides output VAT and PPh 22 FFB purchase recaps as draft CSV files for your tax team; there is no official integration with the tax office (DJP).

Not for KPBN tenders, Disbun FFB prices or JISDOR rates: these are recorded by the sales team with date, source and evidence. Only the ECB USD/IDR reference rate is automatic on working days (needs internet). For a mill’s own buying price see public FFB prices.

We do not publish prices on the site. Quotes are based on products, number of units, deployment and implementation support. Request a quote.

Yes, through a guided demo or a demo instance with sample data (not real company data). On the demo instance’s Try page you sign in with one click and no password as Board, Admin, Weighbridge operator, Harvest foreman (phone view), Cashier or Estate administrator; each card names the products used and a short tour shows where to start. Demo data is reset regularly and risky actions (email, passwords, users, backups, AI) are guarded.
